Dr. Michael Mandikos, Dental Conference Australia

Dr. Michael Mandikos

Dr. Michael Mandikos is a specialist in Prosthodontics, having completed a three-year residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and graduating with a Certificate in Prosthodontics and Masters Degree in Biomaterials.

With a private practice in Brisbane, Michael is keenly interested in Implant and Restorative Dentistry and composite resin materials, and regularly publishes on clinical techniques in dental journals both in Australia and abroad. Michael is a Fellow of the RACDS, FPFA and ADA member, amongst other associations.

A reviewer for five dental journals, Michael regularly lectures and presents dental continuing education programs throughout Australia, the USA and South East Asia.

Dr. Chris Evans, Dental Conference Australia

Dr. Chris Evans

Dr. Chris Evans is a leading Prosthodontist based in Melbourne, Australia, having completed his Master of Dental Science degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Melbourne.

A member of the RACDS and the AANZAP, Chris is actively involved in clinical research relating to dental implants, restorative and reconstructive dentistry, and anterior dentistry. Sitting on the board of the Clinical Oral Implants Research Centre, Chris served three years as a dentist in the Royal Australian Navy, and now maintains a private general dental practice on the Mornington Peninsula.

Chris presents regularly both in Australia and overseas, and has received awards for his presentations at international meetings.

Dr. Chee Chang, Dental Conference Australia

Dr. Chee Chang

Dr. Chee Chang is a specialist prosthodontist in private practice in Melbourne, having completed a postgraduate diploma in Advanced General Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) and specialist training in New Zealand in 2009.

Chee is keenly interested in the aesthetic and biologic integration of dental implants, ceramics and composite resin and the application of modern biomaterials in prosthodontic treatments. A member of the AANZP, ADA, ITI, NZAPRD, and Australian Prosthodontic Society, Chee’s research on dental ceramics has been published in the reknowned Journal of Prosthodontics.

Chee lectures regularly at the University of Melbourne to dentists, dental students and other dental professionals, and speaks at dental conferences in Australia and abroad.

Dr. Sophia Richardson

Dr. Sophia Richardson is a Melbourne-trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, with international experience.

She obtained her Dental and Medical degrees at the University of Melbourne, before completing advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following award of her speciality fellowship (FRACDS(OMS)), Sophia chose to undertake further subspecialisation in orthognathic ('corrective jaw') surgery and maxillofacial trauma surgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (2012), and at The Oxford University Hospitals Trust, United Kingdom, where she was the Senior Clinical Fellow in: orthognathic and maxillofacial trauma surgery, salivary gland pathology, and head and neck oncology (2013-2014).

Dr. Vui Tan

Dr Vui Tan is a Endodontist in private practice in Melbourne, Australia.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide, Vui later undertook the RACDS Primary Examinations, receiving commendations in all streams and the highest mark (Physiology).

With a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics, Uni.Melb), Vui was the recipient of the Ephraim Ehrmann Memorial Prize, and has been published in international peer-reviewed journals.

Vui is a member of the ADA, ASD, and AANZAE, and teaches undergraduate students at Melbourne Dental School.

Dr. Adam Rosenberg

Dr Adam Rosenberg is a Periodontist at The Perio Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Adam has a special interest in dental implants and bone and soft tissue grafting techniques to enhance aesthetic outcomes. He also utilizes advanced techniques to treat periodontal disease in a minimally invasive way: The Perioscope has changed the way we treat patients with periodontal disease. Adam is in full-time private periodontal practice and is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne Dental School.

Dr Adam Rosenberg graduated with a BDS from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and obtained his Masters Degree in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina, USA in 2002.

Dr. Jim Ironside

Trained at the University of Adelaide, A/Prof Ironside is a board registered Specialist in Prosthodontics with a passion for high quality dental care. He is also passionate about teaching and research with a particular emphasis on Fixed Prosthodontics, Implants and TMJ dysfunction.

A/Prof Ironside is committed to encouraging his dental colleagues to use microscopy in their daily practice to allow them to see what they don't see and deliver better treatment outcomes for their patients. He is also involved in teaching Fixed Prosthodontics to the students at Charles Sturt University. He has lectured around Australia and New Zealand plus Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States and has several publications in international refereed journals.
